Immunity in Down syndrome, it is not the same as a child without Down Syndrome. You have to remember a few key concepts: immunosuppression, vitamin C, vitamin D 3, ubiquinol, zinc and T lymphocytes from the genetics … RCAN 1, DYRK 1 A, SOD 1 A, etc.

Before I point all links with useful information, let me give some useful and simple information:

  1. A child with a DS (Down Syndrome) has differently functioning immune barrier due to DS.
  2. Due to the differently functioning immune barrier, there is a need of supportive nutrition supplement in the emergency of illness such as vitamin C, vitamin D3, zinc, vitamin A, vitamin E and good synbiotics.
  3. To make an immunological barrier work better, it is necessary to use EGCG, which stimulates gene DYRK 1 A and ubiquinol as well as DHA, which deal with inflammation.
  4. A large part of the disease is an autoimmune disease linked to poor functioning of the gene MTHFR and MIR 155.
  5. Vaccinations are necessary … but in many cases they are not suited genetically to another functioning of a child with Down syndrome. They are thus ineffective.

Below we present a quick overview of the topic

The first definition:

Immunosuppression is a process of inhibiting the production of antibodies and immune cells by various factors known as immunosuppressants, in most cases are imposed pharmacologically by taking immunosuppressive drugs.

In the case of DS, a tripling of DYRK 1 A gene gives the IMMUNOSUPRESIVE effect, although DYRK 1 A is not the cause itself, namely:

In this case, the whole process of child’s CONSOLIDATION have to start from the regulation of DYRK 1 A gene activity. Its regulation is done by using an extract of green tea. When supplementation lasts longer than a month, only then you can start therapies strengthening the immune system.

The second and third definition:

T cells otherwise thymus-dependent lymphocytes (T from Latin Thymus) – immune system cells belonging to the lymphocytes responsible for the cellular immune response. Progenitor cells which do not have the characteristics of T lymphocytes are produced in bone marrow red, then predominantly mature in the thymus, from where they migrate to the peripheral blood and lymphoid organs.

B lymphocytes, or marrow-dependent lymphocytes (B from Latin Bursa Fabricii – Bursa of Fabricius) – the cells of immune system, which belogn to the lymphocytes, are  responsible for humoral immune response, or antibodies. Lymphocytes B arise in the bone marrow and in the course of an immune response, they differentiate into peripheral lymphoid organs into plasma cells and memory cells

„This report examines the problem of constant infection and immunodeficiency in Down Syndrome. The main reasons of this point indicates a reduced number of lymphocytes T and B, no expansion of normal lymphocytes in childhood, thus children with Down Syndrome till about five years of age suffer more frequently than children without Down Syndrome. ”

„Other factors negatively affecting the immune system is the lack of adequate response to vaccination, reduced IgA immune response, decrease of hemostatic neutrophils and reduced the number of young cells T. In terms of anatomical point, it is pointed that the much smaller size of the thymus, which plays an important role in the development of immunity.”

„As it is analyzed in the above report, and the immune response and „phenomenon” of autoimmune disease in Down Syndrome, is portrayed for many years in the clinical management and significant variations of the clonical managment can re noticed. An interesting subject here is emphasiz that people with Down Syndrome are much less responsive to specific vaccinations, therefore immunological barrier is not improving as is the case in the control group. ”

„The role of RCAN 1 in Down Syndrome has always been a subject of discussion. May I recall that until recent time, RCAN 1 gene was called coverage ratio, which means 1. Critical Region of Down Syndrome. The name emphasized its significance. As shown in the accompanying diagrams, RCAN is being significantly overexpressed in excess of the 185% standard gene activity results in a decrease in the immune system and the primary immune reaction disturbs the function of lymphocytes T. Please take a notice that it dicrease the so-called inflammatory as well as the body’s response to an allergy or anaphylactic shock. ”

„In the case of SOD 1, which is responsible for the reaction to the activity of free radicals, it can not cope with the number of free radicals. This leads to permanent brain damage through inflammation. The immune system can not cope with free radicals and various levels of antioxidants in the body of a person with Down Syndrome is too low to handle with the imbalances. ”

„Vaccinations in case of  Down Syndrome systematically carry a higher problem due to the general decline in immunity, resulting from the over-expression of many genes. It calls the state a reduced level of responsiveness to factors threatening cells called immunosuppression ”
